Rapture in Plain Sight!

Rapture in Plain Sight - John 6

On 05/06/21 the LORD showed me the following Rapture reference, hidden in plain sight in His Word. Just before what I was shown is a hidden Rapture passage, Yeshua feeds the great multitude, supernaturally, with five loaves and two fish! Feeding those who have gone out to listen to and meet Him, when there is no food for them in the natural or money to buy it. Remember that. Incidentally, I love how He says to His disciples: “From where may we buy loaves that these may eat?” (John 6:5) Because everything about His question is glorious, very gently humorous and all-knowing, at the same time:

  • Not “we” but ALL YOU, supernaturally, LORD!
  • Not “buy” but SUPERNATUALLY GIVEN from YOU!
  • Not just “loaves” but fish as well – different food groups, more than they envisaged.
  • None of the normal natural effort had to happen “that these may eat.”
  • “From where?!” From Heaven through King Yeshua.

“But He said this to test him (to test our hearts too in how much we trust Him) FOR HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS ABOUT TO DO.” (John 6:6)

So, that’s the supernatural setting of the following RAPTURE revelation: a preceeding supernatural action from YESHUA all by Yeshua Himself, not us! And, just like now, He tests us with the question of trust and understanding of His SUPERNATURAL POWER in the face of the seemingly impossible. And here, I believe, is one of many supernatural answers, hidden in Scripture for us to have revealed to us by His Holy Spirit in His timing. Note the order of events. No food for the multitude. Then Supernatural Provision. Then this, later on the same day!

“And when it became evening, His disciples went down on the sea. And entering into the boat, they were going across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness already occurred, and Yeshua had not come to them. And the sea was aroused by a great wind blowing.

Then having rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea.

And He having come near the boat, they were afraid. But He said to them, I AM! Do not fear.

Then they desired to take Him into the boat.

And instantly the boat came to be at the land to which they were going.”

(John 6: 16-21)

  • “And when it became evening….” In Hebrew the word for evening is built from the verb “to become dark.” (ערב) We are in dark times.
  • “His disciples went down on the sea”…. The sea in the Bible represents nations. If we are followers of Yeshua we are currently still down in the world, in the nations, at this moment. But if we are hidden in Jesus, we’re in the boat (salvation), buoyant on the waters (Holy Spirit.)
  • “And darkness has already occurred”…. Just like now. Yes, His bride can feel it. Even non-believers can feel it, although they bury it usually through denial. Pray the darkness moves people to press in closer to the God of the Bible, or turn in desperation to Him and His Word for the first time. Keep praying in Yeshua's Name: “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people (עם) (also means ‘nations’ in Hebrew). But the LORD shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall walk to your light…” (Isaiah 60:2-3)
  • “And Yeshua has not yet come to them”…. Just like now. To state this, John must have known the disciples expected Yeshua to come to them, on the boat, in the dark. Just like His bride feels now! LORD, come to us, help us, deliver us, rescue us out of this darkness.
  • “And the sea (nations) was aroused by a great wind blowing….” In the Greek, the word ‘aroused’ means ‘stir up’ and to ‘awake’. Keep praying for the storms of God’s judgement to wake up so many souls from their spiritual slumber, to the urgency of repenting before the LORD God of the Bible, in Yeshua’s Loving Mercy.
  • “Then having rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs….” That is about a quarter to a third of the way across. The Sea of Galilee is approximately 100 furlongs south to north, Yeshua was in Jerusalem in the previous chapter, and it says “after these things Yeshua went away over the Sea of Galilee” so, south to north journey from Jerusalem to Capernaum. As the disciples were following Him, they were also following the same route across the sea from south to north, desperate to get to Him where He had gone ahead of them! The spiritual parallels to our present time are beautiful. This is why the bride feels every day like we’re in a little rowing boat together, wherever we are in the nations, rowing so hard spiritually, through a great wind blowing (both the storms we see in the nations and the power of the Holy Spirit moving us towards Yeshua.)
  • “They saw Yeshua walking on the sea…” As ‘sea’ represents nations, He’s showing that His storms in the nations are under His feet. We know from another account that He is in control of the storms (“Who is this that even the wind and the waves obey Him?” Matthew 8:27).  His Holy Spirit is encouraging us to not be disturbed little flock. The storms are not ultimately controlled by evil people; no matter how much they arrogantly think they are pulling the strings. God has them on a leash, just like their father of lies. He has currently let that leash out a little, to bring tests for both His bride's purifications, His judgements on the wicked and to wake up the spiritually sleeping. We get to pick which one, every single day of either obedience, rebellion or indifference, to His Word. Our choice. His Power. Pray and forgive evil people, tremble for them, because the LORD God, the Creator of the Universe, always judges evil motives, words and actions. A Biblical Truth.
  • “And He having come near the boat, they were afraid….” His bride are still human and so we have still can feel fear and anxiety in these times on occasions, as we see the Holy Judgements of Yeshua coming near to our little boat.
  • “But He said to them, I AM! Do not fear….” He knows our fears, and He comforts us. By using the same Name He gives to Moses in Exodus 3:14-15 ““Then Moses asked God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His Name?’ What should I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I AM THAT I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” It is so important for us to know the full Biblical character of the Saviour we serve. LORD, give us Your Holy Spirit to help us understand more of Who You fully are through the whole of Your Word; Old and New Testament.
  • “Then they desired to take Him into the boat….” Do I think I know God’s escape plan and am asking Him to bless it and come into my plans? Or am I listening hard to follow His supernatural escape plan? Unaware of the SUPERNATURAL DELIVERANCE OFF THE SEA OUT OF THE STORM which was seconds away, they desired take Yeshua into where they were, while He was about to take them SUPERNATURALLY OUT OF WHERE THEY WERE. LORD GIVE ME COMPLETE TRUST IN YOU, and no trust in me. LORD forgive me and help me, give me more faith in You. He very lovingly understands their motives for desiring to take Him into the boat – fear, comfort, a lack of heavenly perspective, human minds. At least they do desire Him in their boat! Most don’t even want Him anywhere near them now. But these are His little disciples, furiously struggling to row to the right destination, which is to be with Him.
  • “AND INSTANTLY THE BOAT CAME TO BE AT THE LAND TO WHICH THEY WERE GOING.” RAPTURE! I am sure that is the catching away without death of the bride of Yeshua. Just like Enoch, who ‘walked with God’. Just like Yeshua in how He went up to Heaven after His resurrection. (For a bibical study on this, please go to the Hebraic Teaching called The Ultimate Aliyah via the top tab or the homepage.)
  • A Rapture reference in John 6, hidden in plain sight, for all these centuries! In a bible passage I’ve read so many times! But was only given faith to see this month! That is a supernatural translation out of the seas (nations) “to the land to which I am going” in Yeshua.

I also believe this is the Rapture because the LORD helped me to find a cross reference to this miracle being a supernatual sign of the reality of the Rapture. I say “sign” because in Hebrew, the word for “miracle” (נס) literally means “a sign from heaven”. So, ALL His miracles in the gospels are actually also Prophetic Signs of eternal spiritual models through which He operates.

“And there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. And on the earth, anxiety of nations in perplexity of sound of sea, and of waves, and fainting men from fear and expectation of the things coming on the habitable earth; for the powers of heaven will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and much glory. And when these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your hearts, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:25-28)

Here, He comes on a cloud, not walking on water. But, a cloud is just a less dense collection of water droplets, like the sea of Galilee thinned out! In fact, it takes even more faith in His Supernatural Power to believe He comes walking on a cloud than it does to believe He comes walking on water, because water is thicker! Both are Him being God over Creation.

And in both John 6 about the boat, and in Luke 21 which I’ve just read, Yeshua draws near in a time of fear:

“And He having come near the boat they were afraid.”  (John 6:19)

“And fainting men from fear…. Your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:25-28)

So, there is the Rapture, I believe, hidden in plain sight.

It is also a promise in this life. There are some ‘lands’ we cannot get to in our own strength, no matter how hard we row. I believe He will deliver me SUPERNATURALLY to the “land” – spiritually, practically and emotionally - to which He wants me. He sees us rowing hard. He comes to us, when we are just beginning to think “darkness has already come and He hasn’t come to us yet!” And He supernaturally completes the impossible journey against the storm blowing hard around us.

But only if we are in His boat, buoyed up on His Holy Spirit, rowing hard to follow Him and be where He is, expecting Him to come to us.
